Children who are raised with a single parent.

Not having a father to raise me as a child was very strange and empty. I did not have the guidance I needed. No positive role model in the house
was challenging. depending on my so called friends led me to want to be like most of them, but it never really worked out, because I was looking
for a father. As a child, feeling empty and uncertain of what was my purpose in life made me wander into many negative things , because that was
my immediate exposyre. Many people say that the environment in which you are raised doesn't influence, I dissagree strongly. I personally
know first hand. Not having a father figure and a mother who was on welfare and working a part time/fulltime, left me with too
much time to myself with no one who could have Mentored me. Financial prou.oblems was very common, not being able to purchase the
needs I had made me fustrated as a child , causing me to believe that they easy way/ selling drugs would resolve my problem, little did I know
that it was the wrong way, Drug addictions play easily in these broken homes due to the lack of time spent with the child. So much free
time as a child and not having an agenda/ schedule that would occupy/educate and fill my daily activity made it very easy to be distracted
by literaly anything.
Children are an unwritten book that recieve whats placed before them with confidence, thinking that their decisions are correct, but really not
knowing the truth or someone to explain them the truth.
Being a product of a broken home doesn't mean you cannot succeed, but if we focus in raising our children the right way, chances are they'll
resemble us.
